Being a Dj for over 30 years from vinyl to digital, labeling and orgaization is important to me when it comes to my music. I like to have everything in it’s place. Certain music here, certain music there. This thing is nice! I bought the product instead paying for the subscription because it was on sale. I would’ve paid for it eventually but it’s worth every penny!

Not much more to add to the title. A great comprehensive utility that works on single fiels or in batch mode with a selection. Perfect for fixing up those streamed ausdio files with incorrect tags (yeah Im calling you out Spotify).

I needed an app to get rid of the tags from multiple files so that I could control the names given to files added to the iTunes library. While I was at it, I wanted to make the artist and album names consistent for all files and delete tags that I don’t use. This app is absolutely perfect for my purposes!

I am a pro musician and dj in Brazil, Rio de Janeiro. Tag Editor from Nikolay Kozlov became my number one music managemnt software. It is very easy to use, powerful, fast and with with an excellent support.

a little slow importing but once that is done, it seems to be great at fixing id3 tags and finding missing info.

Bardzo przemyślana budowa, klarowny podgląd listy… dla mnie po prostu super. Autor jest otwarty na sugestie, rozwija program w bardzo dobrym kierunku. Relatively simple and transparent program that perfectly fulfills its function. Allows you to edit not only the TAG of one file but allows you to organize entire albums and libraries. Very sophisticated design, a clear list view ... for me just great. The author is open to suggestions, developing a program in the right direction.

After fooling around with different tagging apps, finallly I found one that was able to change a batch of files easily.

I had a bunch of songs that had all lowercast information in the tags(song titles, artist, album). I wanted them to all be cuppercase and this application make that super simple. I didn’t have to load individual tracks either. Just gave it a top level directory that had a sub directory for each album and boom, it loaded them all up. Then it was 2 clicks to pick my action. Then it lets you see a preview before you save the changes.

I like this style of application—no frills, just does exactly what you need it to without complaining or errors. It’s powerful and quick, and it doesn’t have more features packed in than it needs to. Highly recommended.

Excellent interface. Great utilities. Only complaint is I wish there was an option to fill in the track numbers in a series automatically. Amazing otherwise!

I bought this app to fix a flac ordering issue in my digital audio player. It was great for changing the track names, but it doesn’t have the option to fix the track number, so was quite useless for what I needed it for - namely tag editing (but ALL the tags, not just track title, album & artist). Could be 5 stars if it actually allowed you to do what it says on the tin...

As I was setting up a website to post several years worth of recording clips I’d made, I needed a tool to rapidly change the metadata on hundreds of MP3s. This program was exactly what I needed. With it’s spreadsheet-style layout and it’s copy-paste features, it’s very easy to apply the same metadata across hundreds of files in a flash. Very simple, very easy to use, I was adjusting my MP3 files in seconds.

it just works… just know your basic keyboard mouse coordination

I had a lot of audio files from lectures organized into folders with author and title information in the folder and filenames. I tried to upload them to Amazon Music but they didn’t have any metadata. That’s why I bought this app. it automatically converted all the information into mp3 metadata. The spreadsheet interface made it fast and easy for me to adjust the artist and album names all at once. Very fast and clear and useful.

I wasted a lot of money trying to find some thing to fix my music. I have tried- music tag don’t work music tag editor don’t work tidymymusic dont work so far i have found 2 that work for me them are this one tag editor works great with doing folders very pleased with this app worth the money and Recogizer will do one file at a time and works great finally found an app that works Thank you for Tag Editor and Recogizer…….

I am a Dj, I was cleaning up all of my music, trying to organize it and was missing artwork, inconcistent names, etc., I was thinking on doing 1 by 1, but it would take for ever, I was looking at a Free app, a $2.99 app and a $5.99 one, then I ran in to this one and there is no doubt! very easy, reliable, and fast to use, just don’t do too many songs at once “hundreds” I usually do 50 at once and it takes it but 3 minutes, It get art work, album info, and it also saves and renames the original file!, most of them just added info to the file, but wouldn’t rename it, this one does it all, Don’t think about it, I highly recommend it, specially if you have a lot of music…GREAT APP!

The program itself seems to work very well, quickly, and efficiently. However, after i waited a couple of hours to load and search my entire library to update via network, it seems that nothing has changed. I saved and opened itunes and nothing in there changed. The titles, songs, albums all stayed the same. Maybe there is a way to “update or refresh” itunes to reconize the new changes? I am very new to Mac and still a bit confused if anyone could lend me some advice on how to make itunes display the changes i would be greatful.

Reminds me of excel in all the right ways. So good for cleaning up bulk music files with the correct tags and art. As a musician I’d say it’s worth the $20 if you need to update tages much at all.

Just purchased. Out of the box this works as advertised, saving me hours of work. I just have to figure out how to fix those invalid tag errors. Since Apple is dictating your every move these days (Thou shall not edit information!), this app is well worth the cost. :)
